Jester Park Bison Center

We spent the day with our youngest grandchildren and our daughter, Danica, today at Jester Park. Jester Park has 1,675 acres of land, located along the west shore of Saylorville Lake. It is a popular migration stop for large flocks of pelicans and waterfowl that use Saylorville Lake during the fall and spring. We stayed at Jester camping a number of times before we figured out that they also have a bison and elk herd.

The kids really enjoyed this small play area near the bison.

For the most part, we all had a pretty nice day. When the kids started getting a little tired it wasn't too pleasant for awhile!

These two got in a huge argument about something and their Mom stopped it by making them sit in the grass and hold hands for 10 minutes. I thought it worked really well,
