Our Local Celebrity Moose In The Snake River

We have a local celebrity bull moose who spends most of his time on a little island under the bridge heading to the Craig Thomas Discovery Center. They need to add two lanes to the bridge because he has traffic backed up any time he decides to get up out of the woods and step into the water where people can see him.

We have stopped several times to see him but normally he is off in the grass or in the bushes so we didn't get the best pictures of him. Today we dropped off some mail at the Moose Post Office and we noticed quite a group of people standing right in the middle of the bridge so we parked the truck and walked over to see what we could see.

He was right in the middle of the water getting a drink and he put on quite a show for all of us. We got some awesome pictures!
