Potter's Creek Campground, Canyon City, Texas

We left Winter Ranch this morning and headed to Potter's Creek. It is always hard to leave Winter Ranch and the friends that are still in residence but it is also wonderful to be heading back to Iowa to see family and friends. Besides soon, Alamo will be pretty darn hot. We heard from friends that our grass was dead within a few days.

We are planning on spending a few days at Potter's Creek which is one of our favorite Corps Campgrounds. We stop there frequently on the way to and from Alamo. We're planning on being here for a few days. Even though we are anxious to see family, we can't get to Iowa before the 15th of April when the campgrounds open.
