Visiting With Two Of Our Great Grandchildren, Kira and Tyson

Today we drove over to our daughter Lori's place to visit with her and two of our great grandkids, Kira and Tyson. Our granddaughter, Holly, is presently staying with our daughter, Lori, while they are working out some marital problems. It was fun to see them all and hoping that all turns out well for everyone!

Cruising the Mississippi River on the Twilight with Dan and Linda

We drove over to Le Claire, Iowa on the 28th to take a boat trip on the Mississippi with Dan and Linda. The boat was the Twilight and it has been running up and down the Mississippi for 30 years. We did mostly browsing in the shops until we reached the Chocoholic where we did spend some money. Yummy. I had my picture taken with Sheldon in one of the shops. The river trip was wonderful - so relaxing and the weather was awesome.

Texas Sand Fest, Port Aransas, Texas

We took time out today from working on our new place and headed to Port Aransas for the Texas Sand Fest. It was a beautiful day.

We stopped at Avery's Kitchen for Fish & Chips before we headed to the festival. It is always fun to find parking and there is a lot of walking involved even before you reach the sand!

Once there we walked around all the sculptures and took pictures. They really had some talented sand artists here.

Lots of kite flying going on too!

After we left the sand festival, we headed over to Aransas Pass and found a Dairy Queen. Then we headed back to the RV. We still haven't moved into the new place yet - no furniture!
