Camping Over Night At Lucas Park Recreation Area

We've stayed at the Lucas Park Recreation Area near Sylvan Grove, Kansas before.  This time though the park was really empty and we had a whole loop to ourselves and practically the whole place.  It has been cold so that has probably kept people from camping.  I know it would me except that we are heading to Iowa to see family and friends.  This is a wonderful place to camp.  It is also a Corps of Engineers Campground and we enjoy the half price discount because we have a Senior Access Pass. 

We are all by our lonesome out here!
