Forks, Washington Where the Twilight Series Was Filmed

We stopped at the Visitor's Center in Forks for some Twilight info and pictures of Bella's red truck.

We then stopped at Native to Twilight which is a native craft and movie memorabilia store. 

We saw the Twilight Tours bus, but we didn't do their tour.

It was time for dinner and we stopped at The In Place to eat. We ate lunch here today and it was pretty good. I loved the murals on the walls. 

Ruby Beach, Washington Coast

We drove over to Ruby Beach and hiked down to it. We got there as the tide was coming in.

We love this beach. It is so full of huge piles of driftwood and by driftwood, you can see that many are full sized trees.

Third Beach, Washington

Today we are out beaching. We headed first to Third Beach which is in the vacinity of La Push, Washington.

We took the trail to Third Beach. It started out fine walking in coastal forest and we knew we had to walk 1.4 miles to get to the beach.

What we didn't know about this trail is that there is a 200' descent to the beach. We took one look at the descent and decided to take pictures from the top. Then we walked back to the truck.

Ir was a fun trail as you can see.
