Desert Conservation Garden in Yuma, AZ

After church today, we had lunch at Arby's and then we decided to head over to the Desert Conservation Garden in Yuma. We tried to visit this place before but the gates were locked even though they were supposed to be open. Today though, they actually were open. There is no fee to get in but they do have a donation bucket.

There were a lot of birds and lizards as we walked around but all of them were good at getting out of the picture as fast as they could. I didn't know lizards were so fast!

Paddle Boat Cruise

Today we took a Paddle Boat Cruise on Lake Martinez with a group from Bonita Mesa. We all arrived in our own vehicles and a lot of us had lunch at the facilities at Fisher's Landing Resort.

Our paddleboat went on the Colorado River to get to Lake Martinez

Love the skies around here. The clouds get blown by the 

winds and make pretty patterns in the sky.
